We feel incredibly lucky to be sharing this weekend with the people who truly know us, love us, and have been part of every chapter that led us to our forever.
This weekend is more than a wedding-it’s a celebration of the love we share with you as well. And with that much love, one day simply couldn’t do it justice. Beginning with a welcome cocktail experience on Thursday evening and carrying on through Sunday morning you can expect a fully immersive Kentucky experience. Consider this your official excuse to take the days off, line up the babysitter, and stay awhile. Welcome to my home y’all!
*As details come together this website will be updated with useful information.
We have a wonderful weekend planned, and keeping everyone on schedule will help us make the most of every celebration! For events where transportation is provided, please arrive early and be ready to board during the designated loading window.
All transportation will depart promptly at the scheduled time and will not wait for late guests. This is especially important for Saturday’s wedding transportation, as there is no guest parking available at the wedding venue.
Thank you for helping us keep the weekend running smoothly!
Kentucky weather can be a little unpredictable, especially this time of year!
We encourage everyone to check the Lexington and Lawrenceburg weather forecasts before packing and again throughout the wedding weekend.
While we have provided attire suggestions for each event, please plan with the actual weather in mind. Temperatures can change quickly throughout the day, so layers are always a great idea.
You may also want to pack a light jacket or wrap, comfortable weather-appropriate shoes, and an umbrella just in case.
Most importantly, come comfortable, prepared, and ready to celebrate with us!
The closest airport to our festivities is Bluegrass Airport, Lexington Kentucky.
Airport code: LEX
Our wedding falls on the same weekend as Keeneland’s fall opening, which means hotel rooms in the area go quickly. We’d love for you to be close by, so please book your stay as early as you can.

It was at a mutual friends birthday party over a decade ago Carrie and Nathan met for the first time. From the very beginning, Nathan noticed something different about her—something he couldn’t quite shake. Life, however, had other plans, and the two moved through the years separately, keeping a quiet pulse on each other from afar.
When timing finally aligned, their connection picked up right where it left off—only this time, with a little more spark. What started as gym sessions quickly turned into closing down every new restaurant in town, double feature movie nights, and dancing the night away at concerts. Somewhere along the way, Nathan found himself developing a not-so-subtle schoolboy crush… while Carrie had him firmly planted in the friend zone. Until she didn’t.
As their friendship deepened and their time together became something neither of them wanted to end, everything began to shift. The night of their first kiss, nerves were high—both knowing this moment could change everything. And it did. Completely. Now, nearly two years later these two best friends, become one in forever.
Carrie was flying home to Lexington for what she thought would be a fabulous weekend, just her and her uncles—completely unaware of what was to come. At their insistence, she arrived in full glam for what she believed was a filmed television promo at their favorite restaurant.
After settling in and ordering cocktails, their song began to play. Smiling, she mentioned Nathan—who was in Austin on business.
A moment later, her drink arrived.
“Here you are, Mrs. Bibeau.”
She froze. She looked at her uncles—their expressions leaving her more confused.
And then she heard it.
His voice, right behind her—
“Bibeau’s not her last name… yet.”
She turned—and there he was.
Before she could process it, he was already on one knee asking her to be his wife. The entire restaurant erupted. Her uncles in tears. Carrie, completely stunned.
There was no Austin trip.
Nathan had been in Lexington all along—spending the week with Carrie’s uncles, getting to know them and asking for her hand in marriage… all leading to the easiest “yes” of her life.
