Terrapin Farms is possibly one of the most gorgeous venues I’ve had the pleasure of visiting in Kentucky. It’s a farm that is often used for festivals and weddings, and it has several really cool spots, including an amazing arch built out of branches, a fire pit, and a few stage areas.

The arch built out of branches was a perfect backdrop, and would be amazing for a small ceremony. It’s backed by a wooded area, and basically looks like it jumped out of a fairytale.

Personally, one of my favorite spots we found was this greenhouse, which was perfect for some bridal pictures. The night we were there, there was a sudden downpour, which had us all a little worried, but it only lasted for about half an hour, after which the skies were amazingly dramatic, and the lightning bugs came out in full force. It was possibly one of the prettiest nights I’ve ever experienced.

The invitation suite we made for this shoot is one of my favorites of all time. Included was a hand torn invitation with a leather border. On the back was a custom monogram. And of course, since the venue was giant, we included a hand drawn, custom map.
