Cozy fall textures, crisp air, & falling leaves.
I know, I know, it gets repeated by everybody like a broken record around this time of year, but Autumn is absolutely one of my favorite times of the year. The colors are better, and the temperatures are cooler. I’m not a pumpkin spice fan, but I’d be lying if I said my favorite Starbucks drink didn’t come out during the fall (Salted Caramel Mochas, y’all.) Did I mention the ability to walk across campus to eat with Brent, withOUT melting into a puddle before I got there? Because that one’s pretty big for me.
So obviously fall weddings are my jam. They make up just a huge chunk of the invitations I make, and I always love doing them. And when they’re fall themed, and I get to paint in all sorts of lovely Autumn hues? That’s just the cherry on top. As a stationer, I’m always living 4-6 months in the future, planning out spring designs in the fall, and fall designs in the spring, but sometimes you have to stop and appreciate the season you’re in. So here I’m going to give you all a little fall inspiration, from last minute details to add in if your wedding is coming up in the next few months, to pretty things you can wear (and wear again and again,) to items to put on your list for weddings (or general decor!!) in the future.

Floral Comb ✶ Tiny Acorn Earrings ✶ Floral Crown
Pretty wearable fall details are an easy way to add Autumn vibes to your event. Autumn colored flower crowns are a gorgeous twist on a popular hair accessory. The crowns from Bloom Design Studio look like they’re straight out of a fairy tale. Or if a whole crown isn’t your style, just have a look at these lovely hair combs from Eucca. For smaller details, work in some pretty, fall themed jewelry. These tiny acorn earrings are literally perfection, and would make great bridesmaids gifts!

Fabric Garland ✶ Floral Table Runner ✶ Hand Painted Toasting Glasses
Table runners are always an easy answer to decorating, from using them along guest tables as part of your center pieces, to just using them here and there as pops of color. The runner above uses pretty fall foliage, in all sorts of pretty jewel tones. Below is a pretty hand painted runner that would be perfect to keep and use for your fall season decor for years to come! Fabric garlands are another easy way to add pops of color to your backdrop. String up several of these pretty garlands from Garden Rose Weddings, and you’ve got the perfect background for a photo booth. The lovely, handpainted glasses from Inspirations Art Glass would be perfect for a couples’ toasting glasses, and can be personalized with your names, and wedding date.

Table Runner ✶ Velvet Pumpkins
I think my favorite find of all are these sweet, velvet pumpkins. Featured on Etsy picks, and in several other blogs, Your Hearts Content has exploded with orders for these. Of course, that’s no surprise–they are *adorable*! They would be perfect as table decor, mixed in with other fall themed items. Or tie your rings around the stem with twine or ribbon, and use them as the cutest Autumn ring pillow you’ve ever seen!

Of course, your Autumn theme wouldn’t be complete without pretty matching paper, from your save the dates to your place cards and table numbers. Shop the Cozy Plaid Suite here, or work with me to design the custom wedding suite of your dreams.
