It’s Christmas in August here on the blog today, as I show off the stationery suite I made for Nicole and Shane! I love, love, LOVED creating the stationery pieces for Nicole and Shane’s winter wedding. Nicole contacted me early on in her wedding planning, and I was thrilled for us to work together. We started with her save the dates, and came up with a whole suite that combined navy, gold, and wintry, floral elements. For the main invitation we included gold foil, which complemented their suite perfectly. The piece I think I was most excited about though, was her custom map, with a cute venue illustration we included.

How would you describe your event theme? How would you describe your stationery, and how did it fit into your theme?
I’d like to think my wedding had a romantic theme to it. Classy, with unique geometric accents. The stationery pieces made for parts of my wedding matched my vision perfectly. The invitations had the romantic, winter theme I was looking for and the programs and favor tags coordinated perfectly.

Which parts of the process did you like? Which parts of your stationery were your favorites?
I loved the designing stage. While I tried to give as much of an idea as possible with what I was looking for, you were able to deliver so many design options that I loved working with you on. Out of all my stationery, I think I love the wedding invitation the best. I do seriously love the favor tags – so stinking cute – but the gold foiling on the invite was top notch!
